About the Role
Bynder is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Barcelona. As a key player in our engineering department, you will be instrumental in driving the technical vision of our platform, which is recognized as one of the best in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) industry. We are looking for a seasoned engineer who is passionate about launching new products and features, and who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, primarily in Java, to enhance the Bynder platform.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to deliver features that meet user needs.
- Lead by example in writing clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Provide and solicit constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying large-scale web applications.
- Expertise in building highly-available distributed systems and microservices.
- Strong background in working with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and a passion for engineering best practices.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation).
