About the Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Bynder, you will be part of a team that is instrumental in shaping the future of our SAAS platform, recognized as one of the best in the DAM industry. You will be responsible for creating a technical vision to elevate Bynder's platform and our operational methodologies to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain Java-based code, setting a high standard for the entire team.
- Collaborate closely with product managers to develop products that meet user needs.
- Implement highly-available distributed systems and microservices.
- Build scalable backend APIs and work with various databases.
- Engage in agile methodologies to enhance team performance and end product quality.
What You Bring
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
- Proven track record of developing and shipping large-scale web applications.
- Strong skills in Java, APIs, microservices, and database management.
- A passion for high-quality code, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to offer constructive feedback.
