Overview
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Skyscanner, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling our front-end codebase to support our mission of making travel booking more sustainable and straightforward for over 100 million travelers. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, ambition, and empowerment.
Responsibilities
- Front-End Development: Utilize modern front-end technologies such as TypeScript, Sass/Less, Webpack, and npm to build scalable and efficient user interfaces.
- Back-End Development: Work with server-side technologies including Node.js, Python, and Java to develop robust backend services.
- API Development: Design and implement APIs that are secure, efficient, and scalable.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal customers, providing first-line support and handling administrative tasks for core systems.
- Project Accountability: Take ownership of your projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full stack development, with a strong emphasis on both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud services, data engineering/ETL, and real-time data accuracy.
- A strong sense of team spirit and dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Curiosity and interest in security and automation.
