Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in PHP and PostgreSQL to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about both technical contribution and enhancing user experience. You will be part of cross-functional teams working on various product components, contributing to the development of our Chat Marketing platform.

Key Responsibilities

Live Chat Development: Enhance our mobile application and Live Chat functionality to provide real-time and efficient customer support.
WhatsApp Channel Enhancement: Focus on stability and functionality improvements to ensure seamless messaging experiences.
Instagram Channel Optimization: Drive growth and engagement through strategic optimizations and user-centered improvements.
Flow Builder Improvement: Elevate user experiences by enhancing our visual editor for creating dynamic chatbot flows.
Developer Tools Development: Develop tools and resources for developers using Manychat, fostering a thriving ecosystem.

Must-Have Qualifications

4+ years of experience in a product development environment as a Backend Engineer.
Expertise in modern PHP technologies (PHP 8.2).
Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
Ability to write testable code and create test cases.
Passion for contributing to user experience and product strategy growth.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of NoSQL solutions and analytical systems.
Experience with high-load project environments and queue systems.
Infrastructure domain knowledge and experience with third-party API integrations.
