About the Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in scaling our current products and infrastructure to support significant growth. You will be responsible for optimizing and productizing processes that are currently manual, ensuring our systems can handle increased demand efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Scale Infrastructure: Work on scaling our backend systems to support 100x growth, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Optimize Processes: Automate and optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with Customers: Stay close to our customers to iterate quickly and solve their problems effectively.
• Maintain High Standards: Ensure high-quality code and system reliability.
• Innovate with AI: Work on making AI voice agents more reliable and efficient.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience with Code-Gen Tools: You should be a power user of tools like Cursor and Zed, with a deep understanding of current generation LLMs.
• Production Experience: Proven experience in shipping production LLM apps that are used by people.
• Real-Time Systems: Experience in building 0-1 real-time systems at scale in industries like Telecom, Networking, Autonomous Vehicles, or high-frequency trading.
• Distributed Systems Expertise: Hands-on expertise with distributed systems, orchestration, monitoring, and analytics.

Bonus Points

• Entrepreneurial Experience: Experience founding a company or building products at early stages.
• AI Voice Apps: Experience in building AI voice applications.
