Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Subscriptions & Payments team at Webflow, you will be at the forefront of developing and expanding our billing infrastructures. This role involves architecting and implementing scalable backend services, designing high-volume APIs, and improving integrations with partners like Stripe.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable backend services.
- Develop and maintain high-volume APIs to support internal and external developers.
- Improve integrations with payment systems, focusing on Stripe.
- Collaborate across functions to meet business goals.
- Mentor other engineers and promote best practices in code design.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, MongoDB, and Node.
- Experience with API development and back-end web development.
- Strong understanding of business requirements and code design.
- Ability to handle project leadership and technical decision-making.
