About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Designer User Experience team. This team is dedicated to delivering a best-in-class user experience that reduces the time required to build new website designs. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, improving, and promoting a high-quality, performant, and scalable Designer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop performant and accessible user interfaces that enhance the Webflow visual design experience.
• Utilize technologies such as React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Demonstrate solid experience and deep expertise in multiple technical domains.
• Contribute to building and executing functional strategies.
• Lead projects that directly impact team and organizational deliverables.
• Produce and elevate the quality of maintainable, tested, performant, and scalable code.
• Collaborate on and evaluate product specifications and design documents.
• Influence technical designs and team-level prioritization.
• Work closely with product managers and designers in an autonomous, supportive team environment.
• Mentor junior engineers in technical skills and Webflow culture.
• Engage in engineering citizenship activities such as co-authoring engineering blogs, improving hiring processes, and leading internal hackathon teams.

About You

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Have 5+ years of experience as a frontend/UI engineer with a proven track record of shipping code.
• Are proficient in advanced React and CSS patterns.
• Possess a deep, foundational understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Have experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Treat web accessibility as a top priority.
• Have experience working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and cross-functional team.

Location

This is a remote-first position available to candidates located in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Salary

• Ireland: €91,500 - €121,650
• United Kingdom: £75,100 - £112,200 (depending on location zone)
