Job Overview
Join SYBO, a leading mobile games developer known for the global phenomenon Subway Surfers, as a Senior Backend Engineer. This role is crucial for designing and implementing scalable backend systems that support our new and existing games. You'll be part of the Central Technology team, focusing on building core services and tools used across all SYBO games.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, robust, and efficient backend systems and services.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop new game features and services.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Take an active part in ensuring our roadmap and architecture aligns with the broader company objectives and vision.
Your First Year at SYBO
- First Month: Dive into our tech stack and start working on smaller tasks.
- First Three Months: Gain comfort with our tech stack and tackle larger systems like our AB Testing system.
- First Twelve Months: Master the tech stack, develop brand new systems and features.
Requirements
- Excellent programming skills with experience in Go.
- Experience with Google Cloud or other cloud providers like AWS or Azure.
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.
- Comfortable in a Linux based environment and command line tools.
Bonus Points
- Experience using Terraform.
- Additional experience with Google Cloud.
