The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Platform Engineer with a strong background in backend software development and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of overall backend software development experience and 2-4 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Kubernetes, along with related technologies such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, Grafana, Golang, and Python.
What You Will Do
- Design, Build, and Maintain: Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and robust cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Automation and CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of applications.
- Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Datadog and Grafana to ensure high availability and performance.
- Development: Write high-quality, maintainable code in Golang and Python to automate infrastructure tasks and improve system reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Security: Implement security best practices to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, network issues, and other cloud infrastructure-related problems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
What You Will Bring
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 5-7 years of overall backend software development experience. 2-4 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana.
- Skills: Proficiency in Golang and Python. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and best practices. Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
