Overview

Role Details
- Location: Initially based in New York, NY with relocation to Australia.
- Workplace Type: Hybrid (both on-site and remote work options available).
- Experience Level: Senior (6+ years in front-end technologies).
Responsibilities
- Develop and prototype new user interfaces and experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js.
- Collaborate with product designers and researchers to explore and implement user experiences.
- Partner with engineers to build out testing capabilities and ensure work can be translated into production.
- Develop documentation and processes for the team.
- Mentor junior Creative Technologists.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Creative Technology subspecialty within Canva.
Qualifications
- A strong portfolio of interaction design work built-in front-end technologies.
- Experience delivering detailed, high-quality interactive experiences.
- Deep passion for code and creativity.
- Experience in understanding and using back-end or data services is a plus.
- Experience prototyping AI user experiences is a plus.
