Job Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer at Replicate, you will be pioneering the data infrastructure for a leading AI startup. This role is crucial as you will be the first data hire, tasked with establishing a robust data foundation that supports the complex business model of deploying machine learning models.
Responsibilities
- Data Infrastructure Development: Build scalable and efficient data systems that integrate seamlessly with other company systems, avoiding silos.
- Analytics and Insights: Utilize SQL and BI tools like Metabase to generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Finance, Product, Infrastructure, and Growth to maintain and create dashboards that track key business metrics.
- Agile Development: Implement solutions that address core needs quickly and efficiently, prioritizing important features.
- Strategic Analysis: Understand and analyze the nuances of a usage-based business model, contributing to strategic planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Experience in setting up data stacks and pipelines from scratch.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with BI tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience in usage-based business analysis is preferred.
Location
