Join Our Team as a Senior Data Engineer

Your Responsibilities
After personalized onboarding, you will work on our projects to design and build modern Smart Data/Analytics platforms. Your tasks will include:
- Developing data transformation processes using tools like Databricks or Azure Data Factory.
- Designing and implementing data models.
- Developing, executing, and scaling data pipelines on cluster architectures.
- Providing data in suitable storage technologies for various applications.
- Assessing data quality and performing transformations for data cleansing.
- Selecting appropriate technologies for implementing Data Analytics use cases.
- Managing and steering projects.
- Leading workshops and discussions with clients.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Guiding and coaching new employees.
- Supporting pre-sales activities.
What We Expect
If you are eager to work with data and enjoy teamwork, you are halfway there. Additionally, the following qualifications are desirable:
- Solid IT knowledge (degree, vocational training, or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, NoSQL, Data Warehousing, or Data Lakes.
- Experience in IT project work, preferably in a project management role.
- Knowledge and experience in project management (agile and/or traditional approaches).
- Proficiency in a programming or scripting language such as Python.
- Willingness to explore beyond conventional paths.
- Hands-on mentality with high technical affinity and strong analytical thinking.
- Excellent command of German and English.
