Overview
Join Futurice as a Senior Data Engineer and dive deep into client data, designing, building, automating, and operating sophisticated data platforms and pipelines. This role is crucial for automating infrastructure, monitoring, and recovery routines, focusing on a dev-ops oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data solutions using AWS and Azure technologies like RedShift, Glue, Athena, Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks.
- Develop and orchestrate data infrastructure to support serverless computation, using tools like Sagemaker, CI tools, and Terraform.
- Manage relational databases and explore document databases, key-value stores, and other technologies to meet project needs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software developers, designers, and clients to deliver high-quality projects.
- Engage in agile methodologies, emphasizing transparency and trust in teamwork.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with data stack on AWS or Azure.
- Proficient in Python or Java; other programming languages are a plus.
- Excellent understanding of databases and data infrastructure.
- Fluent in Finnish and English, with good communication skills.
