Eliq is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in either Gothenburg, Sweden, or Vilnius, Lithuania. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our data platform, ensuring it is efficient, fast, and reliable.

Your Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:
- Work on our Databricks-based data platform to improve its efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and deliver value in an agile manner.
- Share data best practices with other engineers and potentially take on team lead responsibilities as we expand our data engineering function.
Who You Are
You are a proactive and pragmatic problem solver with at least 5 years of experience in data engineering on Azure Cloud. You have a proven track record of developing and administrating ETL processes and building data platforms on Azure Cloud. You are fluent in SQL, Python, and optionally Scala, and have a good grasp of Azure Infrastructure management.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with data engineering on Azure Cloud.
- Experience developing and administrating ETL processes in Azure environment.
- Experience developing Data Lake / Data Warehouse solutions.
- Fluent in SQL, Python, and Scala (optional).
- Good communication skills and fluent in English.
- Based in Sweden or Lithuania, close to one of our offices.
Nice to Haves
- Azure Data Engineering Associate certification.
- Experience designing Data Lake / Data Lakehouse solutions.
- Experience with Databricks.
