What You'll Do
As a Data Engineer at Xylos, you will be part of a diverse team of talented consultants. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Participating in the full lifecycle of analysis, AI, or BI projects.
- Assisting clients in designing and building scalable data platforms.
- Mapping and describing data from various source systems to target data storage.
- Setting up ETL and ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and integrate data into central data warehouses according to predefined business logic.
- Installing, configuring, and optimizing various data services.
- Supporting and advising clients on the latest technologies and solutions.
- Keeping your knowledge and expertise up to date through training and seminars.
- Sharing your knowledge and unique experiences with colleagues.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for data and relevant experience with the Microsoft Azure Data Platform.
- Is knowledgeable about Azure Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Can visualize data using Power BI.
- Has experience with Python, Pandas, and Apache Spark.
- Possesses problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
- Is communicative, client-oriented, and precise.
- Is eager to learn and has a good command of Dutch and English, with French being a plus.

This position is based in the Flemish Region, Belgium, and offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both on-site and off-site.
