As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of consumer AI by leveraging your expertise in data science and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize your strong intuition for choosing the right questions to ask and quickly drive to key insights. Excel at turning findings into actionable next steps and work closely with engineering teams to execute these insights.
- High Velocity Experimentation: Enjoy leaning into high velocity experimentation to test and validate hypotheses, ensuring that our AI products are continuously improving and meeting user needs.
- Data Science Infrastructure: Stand up Character.AI's data science efforts, including the tools and systems needed to work effectively as we scale. This includes working with open-ended, user-generated content and developing predictive models.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience at leading chat, social media, or UGC product companies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Data Science, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Predictive Analytics, and Statistics. Experience with R programming language and data visualization tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in consumer products and experience working with social media and user-generated content.
