About the Role
As an Applied AI Scientist at ClimateAi, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative AI solutions to address critical challenges in climate science. Your work will directly contribute to improving food and climate security outcomes globally. You will collaborate with a diverse team of climate scientists, machine learning engineers, software engineers, and business professionals to build applications using Generative AI (GenAI) approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI/ML models to solve complex forecasting and interpretation challenges in climate science.
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and drive decision-making.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Qualifications
- PhD, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Significant hands-on experience in AI/ML, particularly with large datasets.
- Strong foundation in machine learning, AI, and statistical modeling principles.
- Proficiency in coding and experience with cloud computing platforms.
- Excellent communication skills.
