Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering team to build client authorization systems and microservices for customer accounts.
- Experience on the migration from PHP monoliths to the new microservice architecture.
- Design and implementation of microservices using Kotlin or Go, RabbitMQ or Kafka, and PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Develop and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
- Monitor services, set up alerts, and mitigate incidents using tools like New Relic and Grafana.
- Conduct code reviews with peers to optimize logic and detect bottlenecks.
- Coach and support the team in Agile Software development best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Kotlin and/or Go.
- Proven experience in developing client authorization systems.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and handling large data volumes.
- Experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale, distributed software applications.
- Familiarity with microservices and cloud architectures, including Google Cloud Platform and Docker.
- Knowledge of architecture/design methods and patterns, data and API specifications, quality assurance, and testing methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of experience in a lead position/role.
- Experience working with KeyCloak.
