Job Description
As a Tech Lead Front-End Engineer at AUTODOC, you will collaborate closely with the engineering lead and software architect to deliver efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems that drive complex web applications with independent release cycles. You will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of front-end applications and core libraries to support the B2B unit using React, Typescript, and NextJS. Your role will involve promoting the use of reusable components and front-end libraries, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement, and providing expert-level support and technical mentoring to the team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the engineering lead and software architect to deliver efficient front-end systems.
- Implement and maintain front-end applications and core libraries using React, Typescript, and NextJS.
- Promote the use of reusable components and front-end libraries.
- Ensure a culture of continuous improvement by supporting teams to test, measure, and iterate on their work.
- Provide expert-level support and technical mentoring to the team.
- Contribute to establishing governance processes and guidelines.
- Drive the team from a technical perspective, staying current with new technologies.
- Collaborate with multiple interdisciplinary teams to understand business context and create scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a front-end software developer, primarily with React.js.
- Experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale software applications.
- High-quality organizational skills and a technical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Good knowledge of core JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Understanding and practical experience of REST API.
- Knowledge of modern Web APIs.
- Experience in creating unit tests & e2e tests.
- Familiarity with linters, semantic code/webpack.
- Experience using Agile methodologies.
- English intermediate (B1) level.
