About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at FunderPro, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and interface of our proprietary trading platform. Your primary focus will be on developing intuitive, responsive, and performant frontend solutions using our ReactJS and Next.js tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Design, develop, and maintain intuitive and responsive frontend solutions for the FunderPro prop trading platform.
- UI/UX Design: Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience.
- Component Development: Develop reusable UI components and libraries to streamline frontend development and ensure consistency across the platform.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend performance to ensure fast page load times and smooth user interactions, leveraging techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and caching.
- Accessibility: Ensure accessibility standards are met and maintained across all frontend components and interfaces, making the platform accessible to users with disabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior frontend engineers, driving best practices and ensuring the adoption of modern frontend technologies and techniques.
- Code Reviews and Feedback: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices within the frontend development team.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in our frontend development processes, tools, and workflows to optimize efficiency, performance, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Proficiency in ReactJS and Next.js.
- Strong experience in frontend web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with frontend state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
- Knowledge of modern frontend build tools and workflows, such as Webpack, Babel, and ESLint.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
