The Opportunity
Frame.io, part of Adobe, is revolutionizing how videos are made by enabling over 4 million creative professionals to collaborate seamlessly worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team and help build our flagship web app.
Responsibilities
- Build and Lead: Develop our flagship web product by creating fluid interfaces that perform at massive scale.
- Architecture and Development: Define and refine architecture, technologies, and development practices across the product.
- Mentorship: Mentor a growing team of engineers on performant, sustainable engineering practices.
- Technical Feedback: Engage in pair programming and code reviews to promote engineering excellence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, product, and leadership to align our technology roadmap with future needs.
Requirements
- Portfolio: Extensive portfolio of web experiences owned from concept to launch.
- Product Design: Passion for product design and fluid interfaces.
- UI Development: Experience building pixel-perfect, robust, and accessible user interfaces.
- Mentorship: Proven track record of mentoring and accelerating the growth of senior engineers.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
- State Management: Experience with sophisticated application state management (e.g., Apollo Client, Redux).
- Communication: Ability to break down and communicate abstract technical concepts.
Compensation
The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually, varying by work location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
