Senior Fullstack Engineer (Elixir, NodeJS, ReactJS)

Job Description

Adobe is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining groundbreaking applications that incorporate brand-new 3D algorithms, AI, and innovative UX to enhance user content creation.

Responsibilities

Develop End-to-End Solutions: Utilize ReactJS and similar frontend frameworks, along with Elixir or NodeJS for backend requirements.
Backend Services Development: Define schemas and data flow pipelines to enable scalable solutions.
On-Call Rotation: Participate in the engineering team’s rotation to mitigate service disruptions.
Feature Implementation: Contribute to the analysis, design, prototyping, and implementation of new services/features and improve existing ones.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a superb end-to-end user experience.
Proactive Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship for new engineers as the team grows.
Best Practices: Commit to best practices in software development, including design, testing, version control, documentation, build, deployment, and operation.
Troubleshooting: Respond to, troubleshoot, and support production systems, performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
Quality Assurance: Perform pre-deployment QA and build comprehensive unit tests to confirm functionality and performance of new code.

Requirements

Experience: At least 7+ years of software development experience, preferably in product development.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Elixir, NodeJS, and ReactJS is required. Experience with Redux, Redux Sagas, WebAssembly, Docker, and Terraform is preferred.
API Development: Experience defining APIs and integrating them into web applications using RESTful and GraphQL approaches.
Software Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of software fundamentals, including design principles, analysis of algorithms, data structure design, and implementation.
Creative Tools Passion: A passion for using and/or building tools for creatives, including video editing, graphic design, and 3D graphics.

Compensation

The U.S. pay range for this position is $154,000 -- $278,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
