Overview
Kickoff is a pioneering wellness and fitness platform that integrates advanced technology to provide personalized coaching services. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our New York-based team. This role is pivotal in leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI to enhance our service offerings and improve client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Project Ownership: Lead significant projects that have a profound impact on our clients' lives. Spend about 85% of your time developing and iterating on these projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product team and other engineers to understand user needs and refine product features. About 15% of your time will be dedicated to analysis, user interaction, and team brainstorming sessions.
- Innovation: Utilize Generative AI and other advanced technologies to create remarkable client experiences and introduce new functionalities.
- Data Utilization: Analyze client data to identify key factors that drive positive behavioral changes. Enhance our algorithms for exercise and nutrition recommendations using machine learning techniques.
- System Architecture: Make strategic decisions to ensure our systems scale effectively with our growing user base.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on JavaScript technologies like React, Node.js, and Next.js.
- Proficient in SQL and analytical skills.
- Experience with GraphQL, Serverless architectures, and AWS is highly desirable.
- A passion for fitness and wellness, and a commitment to making a real-world impact.
