About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Apollo GraphQL, you will be at the forefront of building innovative developer tools that help the world's largest companies scale their operations with GraphQL. This role involves designing and developing end-to-end features that enhance the capabilities of GraphQL, working closely with product managers and designers to shape the product experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and build features that help enterprises deploy GraphQL at scale.
- Develop full-stack applications using a variety of languages and technologies in our tech stack, including React with TypeScript, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Rust, and Druid.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define user experiences.
- Integrate Apollo's cloud services with popular developer tools like Datadog, Pagerduty, Sentry, OpenTelemetry, Terraform, and GitHub.
- Participate in prototype testing and provide feedback to improve our developer tools.
- Mentor new team members and engage with the global developer community.
About You
- Extensive experience in full-stack development, familiar with API design and client-server interactions.
- Passionate about GraphQL and modern developer tools.
- Comfortable working across the stack and enjoy the breadth of tasks.
- Creative and proactive in solving problems.
- Experience in on-call rotation is a plus.
