About the Role
Brightwheel is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a technically skilled individual who is passionate about making a positive impact through their work. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will collaborate closely with product and design teams, as well as other business areas, to deliver a platform that addresses the needs of teachers and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement new features, optimize software design, and enhance user interfaces.
- Operate in an agile environment to deliver value quickly to our go-to-market teams.
- Understand customer needs to deliver effective software solutions.
- Ensure quality, scalability, security, and performance of the platform.
- Design new software systems or introduce new technologies to support brightwheel’s growth.
- Share knowledge and expertise across the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Must be located in Latin America.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in agile environments.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, or Golang.
- Proficiency in designing and optimizing APIs.
- Experience with frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, & e2e).
