Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Brightwheel is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a technically skilled individual who is passionate about making a positive impact through their work. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will collaborate closely with product and design teams, as well as other business areas, to deliver a platform that addresses the needs of teachers and parents.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement new features, optimize software design, and enhance user interfaces.
Operate in an agile environment to deliver value quickly to our go-to-market teams.
Understand customer needs to deliver effective software solutions.
Ensure quality, scalability, security, and performance of the platform.
Design new software systems or introduce new technologies to support brightwheel’s growth.
Share knowledge and expertise across the engineering team.

Qualifications

Must be located in Latin America.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience in agile environments.
Experience with backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, or Golang.
Proficiency in designing and optimizing APIs.
Experience with frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, & e2e).
