About the Role

Headway is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing scalable web applications that empower therapists and patients in the mental healthcare space. You will work remotely, collaborating with a team of talented engineers to build innovative solutions that make mental healthcare more accessible.

Key Responsibilities

• Fullstack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and TypeScript.
• Software Architecture: Lead the design of system-level software architecture, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to shape technical requirements, roadmaps, and strategies.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Innovation: Evaluate new technologies and make build vs. buy decisions to enhance our platform.

Projects You Will Work On

• Therapist Network Growth: Develop tools to help therapists join and thrive in the Headway network.
• Onboarding Systems: Create seamless onboarding experiences for therapists to get credentialed with insurance companies.
• Practice Management: Build a comprehensive platform for therapists to manage their practice, including appointments and payments.
• Patient Matching: Enhance the patient search experience to connect individuals with the right therapists.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: €140,000 - €200,000 per year

This is a remote position open to candidates across the United States, with optional office work in New York City or San Francisco.
