Job Description
Join our expanding development team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates located in Texas. You will play a key role in developing features and functionality for our web application using Ruby on Rails, building API endpoints, and integrating third-party services. Additionally, you will implement responsive frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and manage our AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances and S3 buckets.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, deploy, and monitor application features independently.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and deliver work.
- Continuously improve application architecture, code quality, and performance.
- Provide guidance to more junior engineers and help maintain code standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing web applications.
- Expertise with Ruby on Rails and experience with other languages like Java.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services like EC2, S3, RDS.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Self-motivated to continuously learn and take initiative.
