Overview
Tremendous is a leading financial services company specializing in global reward and payout solutions. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer proficient in Ruby on Rails and React to join our fully remote team. This role involves owning the development of product features from end-to-end, including scoping, architecting, coding, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Own the development of product features end-to-end.
- Work closely with other engineers and designers to ideate solutions to user problems.
- Make improvements to developer productivity through process/code improvements and mentorship.
- Work on a distributed team, collaborating during core hours of 12-4 PM Eastern time.
Requirements
- Experience building complex web products end-to-end.
- Expertise working on all parts of the stack (frontend, backend, anything in between).
- Proficiency with Ruby on Rails and React (or similar Javascript-based framework).
- Strong written communication skills, as we are a documentation-first culture.
- High empathy and ability to put yourself in the shoes of teammates and users.
