Join Our Team as a Back-end Software Engineer - Core Engine
Make is seeking a talented Back-end Software Engineer to join our core engine team in Prague, Czechia. As a key member of our cross-functional product team, you will work on the engine that executes thousands of automations per second, helping to design and develop innovative solutions and build new product features.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to enhance our core engine.
- Design and develop innovative solutions and new product features.
- Improve existing back-end systems to enhance maintainability, performance, reliability, and resiliency.
- Write and maintain tests, and ship code to production.
- Automate repetitive work and write and review RFCs and technical documentation.
- Review and provide feedback on the work of others.
- Invest time in learning new technologies and growing your skills.
- Participate in cross-cutting initiatives to influence engineering practices and tooling.

What We Expect From You
- Proven experience in developing cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript on the back-end is a big plus.
- Experience with Docker, software containerization, and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and other technologies from our stack is beneficial.
- Strong command of English, both verbal and written.
