Job Overview
As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will join a dynamic team working on the 'Ons Administratie' product within Nedap Healthcare's Back Office tribe. This product is the financial and administrative core of healthcare organizations, designed to simplify complex administrative tasks and improve healthcare delivery efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Functionalities: Develop features that align with the workflows of healthcare providers and administrative users, tackling both backend and frontend challenges.
- Technical Leadership: Make strategic technical decisions, lead the design and architecture of new systems, and address complex technical problems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members from various disciplines, sharing knowledge and experience.
- Communication: Effectively translate technical requirements into practical solutions, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and team members.
- Domain Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the domain, team, tribe's products, and software users.
- Mentorship: Act as a front-runner for larger issues, providing guidance and setting the direction for the team.
Team and Work Environment
You will be part of the Financial team, essential to clients' healthcare and financial processes. The team ensures communication with health insurers and municipalities, manages healthcare credentials, and handles declarations and invoicing. The backend is built in Java and MySQL, while the frontend transitions from JSF to Vue.js. The team follows Scrum methodology and continuously delivers software.
The team consists of seven developers and a quality engineer, working within the Back Office tribe of over 30 colleagues. Collaboration extends beyond the team to include other teams, the product owner, project lead, and tribe lead.
Work Location
The role is based in Groenlo, Gelderland, Netherlands, with the flexibility to work from home. Regular office meetings are encouraged to foster team collaboration.

Required Experience and Skills
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.
- Experience with Java, Vue.js, MySQL, WildFly, JSF, Ebean, JUnit, Cucumber, REST/Ajax, jQuery, GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and Sonar.
- Experience in mentoring or coaching colleagues.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, due to the nature of healthcare regulations and team communication.
