About the Role
As a Senior Integrations Engineer at Fabric, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our healthcare solutions by integrating customer workflows into our applications. You will work closely with our Implementation team to plan and execute customer integrations, acting as a subject matter expert in scoping discussions. Your primary focus will be on developing HL7 messaging, REST API web services, and SSO-based solutions to process data from our customers' software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Implementation Team: Collaborate with the Implementation team to plan customer integrations and provide expertise during scoping discussions.
- Develop Integration Solutions: Create HL7 messaging, REST API web services, and SSO-based solutions to handle data exchange with customer systems.
- Troubleshoot and Optimize: Utilize your technical skills to troubleshoot and optimize integration processes, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with various teams to ensure integration solutions meet customer needs and align with Fabric's standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in delivering healthcare integrations, with a strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HL7 standards, FHIR for health data exchange, and experience with integration engines like Mirth, Rhapsody, or Cloverleaf.
- EMR/EHR Systems: Experience with EMR/EHR systems or integration with systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- SSO Mechanisms: Familiarity with SSO mechanisms such as SAML 2.0, Auth 2.0, SMART on FHIR, JWE/JWT.
- Education: BA/BS Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience of 3 to 5 years is also acceptable.
- Programming Skills: Ability to solve technical problems using programming languages like Ruby or Python is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
