Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager for our AI/ML Data Science team within the Efficiency Engineering department. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a global team focused on transforming Twilio's operations through intelligent, self-service solutions. You will play a pivotal role in establishing a high-performance culture and driving innovation in AI and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and develop a team of AI/ML and Data Science professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Development: Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML tools to enhance business processes, focusing on efficiency and quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, business, and program management teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Innovation: Drive the creation of machine learning infrastructure and applications that support Twilio's customer support and operations teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams and leadership to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 5 years in AI/ML Data Science, with proven leadership experience.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in data science and machine learning techniques, including large language models.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Desired Skills
- Experience in building cloud applications at scale.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.

This is a remote position based in the United States.
