TypeScript/NodeJS Backend Developer

Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a JavaScript/TypeScript Developer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team within the London Stock Exchange Group Technology Hub in Bucharest.

Technical Requirements:

• Around 4 years of previous experience in Full Stack, modern Desktop/Web technologies
• Solid experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js
• Familiar with network protocols: WebSocket, Socket, HTTPS
• Good communication skills
• Good problem-solving & keen analytical skills
• Agile oriented

Preferably/Nice to Have:

• Experience in CI/CD in Cloud such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete the design of applications and perform code analysis and overall improvement of style and usability
• Deliver optimized and scalable solutions ensuring ongoing support requirements are minimized
• Identify and implement improvements to code
• Build technical documentation for reference and reporting
• Translate business requirements into actual technical solutions and document system features/functionalities
• Communicate effectively with project collaborators to report on progress against agreed deliverables and escalate any critical issues/blockers
