Node.js Developer with TypeScript and Angular

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience in TypeScript and Node.js to join our team responsible for building integrated solutions for Microsoft Office users. Our Microsoft Office add-in provides Refinitiv Workspace users with unmatched financial data and intuitive UIs to make thoughtful decisions in daily business.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirements.
• Develop software using well-adapted software development principles and lead and coach the team on the same.
• Build unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirements.
• Reuse existing systems that drive sophisticated applications.
• Ensure responsiveness for applications and services.
• Identify and resolve performance and stability issues.
• Handle individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX team, and Software Engineers to deliver an outstanding product.
• Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the deliverables.
• Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Required Skills

• 2+ years experience in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns, and unit testing.
• Strong experience in CI/CD, unit testing frameworks, automation (testing/deployment).
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to details.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Angular.
• Experienced with Agile methodologies, Scrum.
• Experience in Office.js.
• Familiar with RESTful interfaces.
