TypeScript/NodeJS Backend Developer

Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a JavaScript/TypeScript Developer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team within the London Stock Exchange Group Technology Hub in Bucharest. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js, and who is familiar with network protocols like WebSocket and Socket.

Technical Requirements

• Around 4 years of previous experience in Full Stack, modern Desktop/Web technologies
• Solid experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js
• Familiar with network protocols: WebSocket, Socket, https
• Good communication skills
• Good problem-solving & keen analytical skills
• Agile oriented

Preferably/Nice To Have

• Experience in CI/CD in Cloud such as Azure, AWS or GCP

Key Responsibilities For This Role Are

• To complete the design of applications and performing code analysis and overall improvement of style and usability
• To deliver optimized and scalable solutions ensuring ongoing support requirements are minimized
• Identifies and implements improvements to code
• Builds technical documentation for reference and reporting
• To translate business requirements into actual technical solutions and document system features / functionalities
• Communicate effectively with project collaborators to report on progress against agreed deliverables and escalate any critical issues/blockers
