Responsibilities
- System Management: Own back-end services handling fleet management and front-end services like WhatsApp and Instagram.
- Code Development: Write and review code for various platforms, ensuring robustness and efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Tackle complex problems live on some of the world’s largest and most intricate systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers across the company to develop scalable solutions and handle on-call rotations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 7 years of experience with UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
- Proven coding skills with experience in languages such as Python, C++, Rust, PHP/Hack, Go, or Java.
- Familiarity with internet service architecture and infrastructure applications like Kubernetes and Terraform.
