Meta is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Engineer to join our dynamic team in Fremont, CA. This role is crucial for ensuring that Meta's services, including WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Meta Ads, operate smoothly and are prepared for future growth. As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be at the forefront of managing and improving our extensive production systems.
Responsibilities
- System Management: Own back-end services handling fleet management and front-end services like WhatsApp and Instagram.
- Code Development: Write and review code for various platforms, ensuring robustness and efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Tackle complex problems live on some of the world’s largest and most intricate systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers across the company to develop scalable solutions and handle on-call rotations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 7 years of experience with UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
- Proven coding skills with experience in languages such as Python, C++, Rust, PHP/Hack, Go, or Java.
- Familiarity with internet service architecture and infrastructure applications like Kubernetes and Terraform.
