Nexo Careers is seeking a Senior React Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a leading global institution for digital asset management, Nexo is at the forefront of blockchain-based financial services. We are looking for a talented developer who is passionate about front-end development and has extensive experience with React.js and Redux.js.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Applications: You will be responsible for developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving web and mobile applications used by over 5 million users worldwide.
- Code Ownership: Embrace the "You Write It – You Own It" philosophy by owning the full life-cycle of your code.
- Build Reusable Code: Create reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize Existing Code: Support and optimize existing code/features for web and mobile client applications and internal administrative tools.
- Collaborate and Share Knowledge: Work in small autonomous teams with short release cycles, sharing your knowledge to help your team evolve best practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript: Including their syntax and features.
- Experience: 3+ years with React & Redux, 5+ years in front-end development.
- Web Tooling: Strong understanding of modern web tooling such as Webpack, Babel, Jest, and Enzyme.
- Design Patterns: Highly adept at design patterns and software architecture principles.
- Problem Solving: Strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Version Control: Rich experience using GIT, standard deployment strategies, and code reviews.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delegated tasks and responsibilities.
- Curiosity and Learning: A strong desire to learn, grow, and stay up-to-date with trends and best practices.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Desired Skills
- React Native: Experience in developing within the React Native framework.
- Third-Party Libraries: Experience with libraries such as React Native Navigation.
- UX Design: Excellent understanding of User Experience (UX) design patterns including Responsive, Adaptive, and Mobile First user interface design, Accessibility.
