Role Overview
The Senior Software Architect at BridgeFund is pivotal in designing and implementing high-performance backend applications using the Node.js framework. This role demands a strong foundation in software architecture and a proven track record in building scalable systems.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Oversight: Lead the design and architecture of complex systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Code Quality and Best Practices: Establish coding standards and best practices.
- Technical Strategy and Vision: Collaborate with senior leadership on technical vision and strategy.
- Project Leadership: Manage major projects to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Problem Solving and Innovation: Tackle complex technical challenges and innovate solutions.
- Mentoring: Guide technical leads and senior engineers in their professional growth.
What You Will Work On
- Translate high-level architectural designs into practical software implementations.
- Set out best practices and implement design patterns.
- Create a standardized, modern, and scalable tech stack.
- Facilitate technical discussions and consensus within the team.
What We Expect From You
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, with significant exposure to system architecture.
- Expertise in Node.js and its ecosystem, including frameworks like NestJS.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of both relational (MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
- Experience in designing RESTful web services and APIs, with a focus on microservices architecture.
