Join the Amazon Business Incentives team as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Madrid, Spain. As a Senior SDE, you will lead the design and implementation of complex systems, ensuring scalability and reliability while driving significant technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of new features across multiple tech stacks.
- Drive the software architecture and collaborate proactively with other teams on integration projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead code reviews.
- Ensure the technology is scalable and reliable for expanding to new marketplaces and verticals.
- Integrate offerings within the Amazon Business and Amazon Prime ecosystems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Proficiency in programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
