About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at AppFolio, focusing on enhancing the accounting module of our AppFolio Property Manager product. This role involves working within a cross-functional team to develop features that integrate with financial institutions, enhancing data intake methods and supporting additional account types.
Key Responsibilities
- Quickly onboard to our technology stack and feature set.
- Collaborate with team members to align on problem and solution spaces.
- Lead technical initiatives and provide guidance to fellow developers.
- Communicate effectively across roles and disciplines.
- Participate in customer calls to understand user needs and feedback.
Required Skills and Experience
- Over 5 years of full-time software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in full-stack web development, including front-end and server-side domains.
- Experience with databases and software testing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passionate and curious about technology.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and React.

Compensation and Benefits
