Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship user-facing products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Lead the development and deployment of robust web applications.
- Architect innovative features to enhance user experience.
- Evaluate and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement A/B Testing, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, and other best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical experience in software development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails and React.
- Proficiency with database systems like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience in designing and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
Location
This position is remote, ideally suited for candidates in the Eastern or Pacific Time Zone.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $156,500 - $243,225 annually, adjusted based on experience and location. Roofstock offers a comprehensive compensation package, reflecting our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
