Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining robust data platforms and pipelines that support high-volume environments. This position is ideal for someone based in North American or European time zones and reports directly to the CTO.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and platforms.
- Work independently in a senior capacity to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers and other stakeholders to meet data needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technical stack and processes.
Technical Stack
Our technical environment includes:
- Node.js for backend applications with Prisma ORM & PostgreSQL
- REST and GraphQL APIs
- React with Next.js for frontend applications
- TypeScript throughout the entire stack
- Shared design system and client-side querying using Apollo
- Material-UI for design components
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in building data platforms in high-scaling environments.
- 3+ years of experience in a senior role, managing complex data projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Node.js, Python, SQL, and data serialization techniques.
- Experience with Go and TypeScript is preferred.
- Background in advertising technology, marketing, or climate tech industries is advantageous.
