Job Overview
Airtable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Data to join our dynamic engineering team. As a data engineer at Airtable, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports our innovative no-code app platform. You will work closely with various teams across the organization, including data science, growth, sales, marketing, and product teams, to understand the data needs of the business and produce pipelines, data marts, and other data solutions that enable better product and growth decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to understand data requirements and design scalable data solutions.
- Design and update foundational business tables to simplify analysis across the company.
- Improve the performance and reliability of our data warehouse.
- Build and enforce a pattern language across our data stack, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and clarity.
Who You Are
- You have over 5 years of professional experience in designing, creating, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, preferably using Airflow.
- Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably Python, and willing to learn others as needed.
- Highly skilled in SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- Passionate about building systems that enhance human understanding.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience in communicating with graphs and plots.

Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $192,500 - $277,600 USD per year, depending on location, skills, and experience.
- Additional Benefits: Health insurance, paid vacation, restricted stock units, and incentive compensation.
Location
This position is based in New York, United States, with options for remote work depending on the candidate's location and preferences.
