Join Discord as a Senior Software Engineer on our Data Platform team in San Francisco, CA. Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Airflow.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all platforms.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate systems and streamline data processes.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support through coaching and mentoring.
- Solve complex problems related to data management and performance.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in software development, especially in a data-focused role.
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Airflow.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in coaching and mentoring.
- A track record of successful projects in data infrastructure.
