Airtable is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Senior Full Stack Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining high-performance web applications that serve our users and partners across marketing and design. Your expertise in developing intuitive and efficient platforms will be pivotal in driving our projects to new heights, making a tangible impact on our user base and partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and Maintain Web Applications: Develop easy-to-use and performant websites that serve multiple partners across marketing and design.
• Backend Services Ownership: Take full ownership of backend services, including responsibility for deploys, monitoring, debugging, and overall reliability. Propose solutions for potential improvements.
• Full Stack Development: Work at all levels of the stack with a concentration on the backend. Utilize technologies such as Node.JS, Next.JS, and Heroku services.
• Development Lifecycle Participation: Engage in the full development lifecycle, including estimation, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Serve as a lead and mentor to the existing web engineering team.
• Operational Issue Management: Review and respond to operational issues, escalating as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience: Engineer with 5+ years of experience in web development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Node.JS, Next.JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Software Engineering Best Practices: Passionate about agile development, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Project Leadership: Experience leading a project from start to finish.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Multi-tasking: Ability to balance many simultaneous projects and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Additional Skills: Experience in areas such as CI/CD, build systems, test infrastructure, performance measurement, and optimization. Experience with Heroku and GitHub actions is a plus.

This position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States.

Salary

The base salary range for this role is $144,000 - $226,600 USD, depending on location, skills, and experience.
