About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Trunk, you will be instrumental in building the infrastructure that supports our innovative software development tools. You will design and build both development and production platforms that enhance product reliability and security at scale. This role involves accelerating engineering productivity by providing your fellow engineers with superior tooling and systems. You will also guide and advise product engineering teams on best practices for creating observable, scalable systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the development and production platforms that power our products.
- Accelerate engineering productivity by empowering engineers with excellent tooling and systems.
- Guide and advise on best practices for ensuring observable, scalable systems.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents as needed.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience in databases, distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and data infrastructure.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively.
