About The Team
The Connect team at Stripe builds infrastructure for the world’s leading platforms and marketplaces to incorporate payments into their products. Connect has been instrumental in Stripe’s growth by enabling users to distribute Stripe’s payment processing directly to their sellers and merchants.
The Tax Reporting Product team develops tax products and services for leading businesses to remain compliant and manage tax complexities globally using Stripe’s network. Our new product simplifies tax rules into a streamlined platform that makes tax filings easy and accurate.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Tax Reporting Product team, you will:
- Build APIs and services on our tax platform.
- Collaborate with UX, sales, and operations teams to understand and solve user pain points.
- Lead new tax experiences and user workflows for platforms and their connected accounts.
- Work with a wide range of Stripe’s engineering systems to solve problems across the full tech stack.
- Design and implement front-end experiences using React, GraphQL, and ElasticSearch.
- Uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter.

Hybrid Work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location. Office-assigned employees spend at least 50% of the time in their local office. Remote employees work primarily from home but are welcome to attend office meetings and events.
Pay and Benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $136,800 - $244,700. Additional benefits include equity, company bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
