Role Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer at our Flensburg, Germany location, you will be part of a product team responsible for developing maritime software solutions. Your main tasks will involve implementing efficient algorithms for container lashings on sea vessels and designing user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software for loading computers and stowage planning systems.
- Implement algorithms for calculating container lashings according to ship class regulations.
- Design and implement user interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers, testers, designers, and other developers in an agile development process.
- Coordinate with customers and ship classes to resolve issues and support implementation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Extensive experience with C#, .NET, WinForms, and WPF.
- Proficiency in software architecture and design patterns.
- Experience in programming numerical algorithms and writing unit tests.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, and Jira.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
