About the Role
Trumid is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Node.js to join our dynamic team. This role involves building and maintaining Node.js microservices in a monorepo, deployed on Kubernetes. You will be responsible for creating API endpoints, primarily real-time gRPC streams, and transforming them for UI consumption via websockets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices for electronic trading.
- Analyze and test performance and scaling characteristics.
- Create and enhance end-to-end test automation tooling.
- Engage in continuous delivery practices.
- Optionally, contribute to our React-based UI as a full-stack developer.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with RxJS or similar libraries.
- Knowledge of NestJS framework.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
- Comfortable working in Linux/CLI environments.
- Understanding of gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
- Experience in FinTech or fixed income trading platforms is highly desirable.
