Your Mission

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications. You will work with both relational and non-relational databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval. Your expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js will be essential in building scalable and maintainable backend and frontend architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
• Database Management: Work with relational (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis) databases.
• Testing: Write unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest.
• Framework Utilization: Leverage modern frameworks such as NestJS and Next.js.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain high code standards.
• Agile Development: Collaborate in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Continuous Integration & Deployment: Use CI/CD tools to automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional development experience.
• Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
• Database Skills: Extensive experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Testing: Proven experience in writing unit and integration tests.
• Frameworks: Experience with NestJS and Next.js.
• Methodologies: Solid experience with Agile methodologies.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Experience: Experience with AWS or similar platforms.
• DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps practices and Docker.
• Microservices Architecture: Experience in designing microservices-based systems.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with tools like Buildkite.
